Herein lies a goodly portion of the brains—the stupendous brains— of the class of 1934. But to look at the sweet innocence radiating from the face of this damsel, you would never guess that behind it teemed a
mass of unequalled brain matter. As she stands in that hallowed class of Spoken English, writhing her form in graceful curves, but trying vainly to act the part of a stern general, you could not imagine that she has
carried off the honors of many a play with ease and supreme poise. From her pen flow lilting words, and with her pencil she has drawn many a woodland scene or spectacled teacher. Alas, poor child, when graces and talents were given out, she was sadly neglected.
