THE EAIR
The proceeds of our Fair in 1933 amounted to $1,127.3L This included $45 saved by the Oakwood girls and teachers through the eating of bean dinners. To this sum was added by the Parents' League $66 taken in at the Mother-Teacher basketball game,
and $437.61 made at the Hullabaloo, the delightful fete managed by the mothers and fathers at Oakwood. The sale of puzzles donated by Mrs. Hamblet brought in an ad ditional $9. The total of all these earnings, with the balance in our Hospital Fund Ac count, enabled us to pay for our ten beds in the Children's Ward, at the cost for the year
of $2,000.
