 DEDICATION
For years Mr. Peterson has been a familiar face in our halls. As athletic director, then as administrator and teacher, he worked his way both into the hearts of faculty and of stu dents alike.
Few relish the job of Dean of Students with its great disciplinary and administrative demands. Mr. Peterson, how ever, has managed to live up to the job and, as Assistant Headmaster this year, was largely responsible for tending to the day-to-day business of the W-H community.
To him, Mr. Evan Peterson, we on the Tempora et Mores staff, dedicate this 84-85 yearbook. Thanks for everything!
It is always hard to say good-bye to someone after a year has passed, but the staff of Tempora et Mores would certainly like to try and, in the process, thank Mr. Alec McDougall.
Few students, if any, have managed to pass through the gates of W-H since 1968 without getting to know Mr. McDougall. Dean of Faculty to some, he was teach er, director, (even coach!) to others; yet he was a friend to all who sought his help. It is his ability to be both teacher and friend that endeared him to many. Add to this a spark of wit and one gets a truly fine administrator.
So it is with great sadness that we say a belated good-bye to Mr. McDougall, and wish him the best wherever people are fortunate enough to get to know him ...
