Burgess N. Ayres, Headmaster, Lake Forest College! University of Hartford, M. Ed.
The head of the Wardlaw-Hartridge family, Mr. Burgess Ayres, continued to generate a spirit of enthusiasm and a feeling of caring through the school year. Always concerned, there was never a matter either insurmountable or insignificant for our headmaster. Both faculty and students depended on the secure leadership of Mr. Ayres who was ready to confront any problem. Furthermore, Mr. Ayres always encouraged communication among faculty, students and staff and, through his personal participation and dedication, brought even more unity to W-H this year.
