This June, as the Class of 1992 graduates, Mr. Burgess Ayres completes his eleventh year as Headmaster. During the past year, Mr. Ayres performed not only his normal duties at Wardlaw-Hartridge, but also effectively aided in launching the beginnings of the first phase of a project which will eventually see both Lower and Upper Schools situated on the Edison campus. His quiet dignity, sense of humor, deep personal concern for the student body, and ability to solve the varied problems that arise throughout the year have added immeasurably to the growth and development of our school.
