Sachina Lyons
Sachina was a four-year varsity player and co-captain. Switching from left to center halfback, she was the key player on defense. Because of her great speed, she was able to rush the shooter on penalty corners and prevented many shots on goal. Sachina was selected as the teams' MVP and named to the All-Star Team because of her aggressive play in backing up forwards, her skill in tackling opponents, and her speed in penalty corners.
Sonya Patel
Sonya was a four-year varsity player and co-captain. From her position of right wing, she led the team with five assists. This places her second on the all-time list in career assists. Sonya was also the emotional leader of the team, fostering team spirit and unity. Her hard work and dedication served as standards to which the rest of the team could aspire.
Lisa Horwitz
Lisa was a two-year varsity player in the goal. She allowed only twelve goals while making thirty-eight saves. Twelve of those saves came in the State Tournament game against Stuart, a truly remarkable feat. This places her record on the all-time list for number of saves in a single game. Her calmness under pressure and willingness to help young players will be missed.
