Varsity Football
The determination to improve upon the fortunes of the football program was the common goal of both players and coaches. Under first year coach Rich Shello and his staff, the Rams began preseason at a camp deep in the woods of Sussex County where conditioning and team unity were developed. Some early tough losses to St.
Peter's, Newark Academy and Pennington as well as injuries to Billy Miller, Garry Pate and Bakari Lee, made it difficult for the Rams to find their first win. However, in the final game at Wildwood High School, W-H was victorious by a score of 20-16. The victory was an excellent climax to a hard season. It was proof that hard work and determination will bring positive result.

Billy Miller
A co-captain and the heart and the soul of the defense, Billy missed three games due to a knee injury. However, he was still responsible for 69 tackles from his linebacker position. As an offensive tackle, Billy was largely responsible for opening holes for Bakari Lee.
