The W.H. Swim Team wrapped up the '88-89' season with a win over Bishop Ahr. and finished 4-9-1. There were a lot of close meets as the Prep Conference Teams are very similar in their strengths. In the Prep Conference Meet W.H. finished-
Boys States - 3rd in the B Division
Girls States - 4lh in the B Division
The team was lead by Sophomores Shannon
Clare, Adam Kreitman, as well as juniors Josh Dobbelaar, Stergios Papadakis, Chris Cone, Ro ger Lerner, and Heidi Ritz. Seniors Kevin Swen son, Maureen Kenney, and Emily Ritz all fin ished their careers with fine performances.

Kevin Swenson
Kevin Swenson swam for Varsity for four years in his Freshman Year of swimming hold the record in the 100yd Breast. He also hold the Medley Relay record In the NJ Prep-B Meet.
Kevin was the Captain of the swim team in his senior year while he has only been beaten twice in the 100yd Breast Stroke. He was also the leading point scorer for the team this season, and the only male Senior this year.
Maureen had a very good year while finishing strongly in the 200 IM, 100 Butterfly, and 500 Freestyle events. Maureen was needed for strong performances meet after meet to keep them close. She finishes her career as a member of the girls record setting team in the 800 Free Relay and 200 Medty Relay.
Emily Ritz finishes this season as the Coaches Award Recipient. She has been used in every event during her career to pick up much needed points when crucial.
