“The 1978 Cross-Country season was a long, hard, and frustrating one. With only nine runners, four of whom were freshmen, trying to find victory was a difficult task and a rare occurrence,” stated Coach Ralph Muoio. Despite the dis couraging record of 3-14-0, the
future appears promising as the top two runners were juniors and only one of the top five runners was lost to graduation. The vast improve ment and individual accomplish ments of all the members of the team make the prospects for the 1979 season look hopeful.
