The varsity volleyball team closed a difficult season with a 4-7 record. After opening the season with two losses but winning over Newark Academy in its third match, the team encountered difficulties until the final game when it made a deciĀ sive comeback with a victory of 2-0. The team was made up of only nine
players, which resulted in a lack of depth. While there were many outstanding members, the team
had trouble working together as a whole. The team was led by Coach Arlene Jachim and Captains Jane Larson and Monika Kowleski.
For the second year in a row, the volleyball team held an Invitational tournament at the Inman Avenue campus, where they competed with eight other teams. The Rams also placed fifth in the Independent School Volleyball Tournament.
