This year, the propects for an out standing lacrosse season are very bright. Miss Beverly Baier, the team’s enthusiastic coach who has returned after recovering from last year’s leg injury, states, “ We have an enthusiastic group this year. This spring, there has been a new in terest in the sport. The returning girls are very talented and the beginners are learning very quick
ly.” Outstanding players include Roxane Brown, who leads the offen sive front, while Sue Stout and Bonnie Sermons are both strong all-round players. Camille Con nor and goalie Eloise Cordasco pro vide for an agressive defense. All of
the girls are striving hard to reach their individual potentials as well as to work together as a unified team.
