This year’s track team faces an uncertain season due to a challeng ing schedule and an inexperienced, young team. The outstanding com petitors include seniors Richard Guss in the 440, Tom Young in the high and intermediate hurdles and
javelin and Mark Keating in the high jump. Juniors Brian Roach, who runs in the 100 and 220 yard
dashes, Bob Muccilli and Gary Johnson, who both compete in the distance races, brighten this year’s outlook. Sophmore John Swails, who jumps hurdles, and freshmen Ed Bofill, Mark Domino and Dave Bitterman are all promising pros pects. With hard work, these young players have the promise needed for a winning season.
