 Headmaster
Mr. Prentice C. Horne, headmaster, describes his main objectives as being, “to cooperate closely with the students and to make the learning experience a three-pronged approach between student, teacher, and parent.” His warmth and en couragement are evident in his readiness to discuss a student's problem or to praise an accomplishment.
Mr. Horne stresses the importance of both the academic and personal aspects of a student’s education. He feels that the school, in addition to providing the student with a sound background for successful work at college, should also prepare the student for life. His support and dedication in accomplishing this end have done much to uphold and continue the high standards of education at Wardlaw-Hartridge.
