This year, the Wardlaw-Hartridge Band has made great improvement under the new instructor, Mr. Sutor. “The students really respond to him,” stated one member. Mr. Sutor has worked very hard to improve the band. He stated that the band started with a disadvantage due to problems with past band instructors. With the help of the students and the faculty, Mr. Sutor was able to polish the band’s skill. “The overall attitude of the band members has improved, which has made it easier for me to work with them,” he stated. The band was very well received at the concerts and Mr. Sutor has much hope that next year’s band will improve even more.
