The Chess Club has gained in popularity this year and is growing rapidly. The club, headed by faculty advisor Mr. Paoli and senior Hclgc Zielcr, was very successful. Club
members were encouraged to play weekly chess games. A tournament was held at the end of the year and was a great success. The skills of the members had improved and all agreed that the Chess Club was responsible for that im­ provement.
