 Alumnae Notes
The annual Alumnae luncheon, held last fall at the Commodore Hotel, was particularly delightful.
Dorothy McKenzie, as well as Augusta Burke, Sarah Carvalho, Barbara Harrison, and other old Idartridge girls, did splendid work in the Vassar Shop. They could sell you anything; but the place was so attractive that really things
sold themselves.
Keyo Tetsuka, who is going abroad this summer, has had her pottery in
the exhibitions of the Ceramic Society and of the Greenwich Village artists. Keyo says she hates to admit that latter, but absolutely no freaks were allowed in the show.
Among our travellers are Saidee Sandford, who went to the West Indies and returned only because she had to; Betty Wallace, who came back from a trip to Italy, and Edith IMellick from France; Priscilla Fraker, who has been abroad; and Ruth and Florence Small and Dorothy and IMarian Frost, who are going to Europe this summer.
Kate Bomann and Louise Patterson plan to wrest the golf championship from Alexa Stirling in the near future.
Cateau DeLeeuw is completing the third year of her study of art in New York. Adele DeLeeuw is still writing poems for newspapers and magazines, and is doing book-reviews for the New York Tribune.
Margery Meigs has been president of Strong Halt at Wssar, and Julia Taylor and Katharine Shellabarger have been heads of their houses at Smith. Anna Frazar is chairman of the Senior Parlor Committee at Vassar for next vear. Catherine Stockwell has been business manager of the Vassar Miscellany, and has played in hockey games. Hariet Davis was on the Sophomore team that debated with the Juniors in the fall. Ruth Broughton and Caroline Butterfield have both been on the famous Vassar freshman basket-ball team, of which Ruth
was captain, and Ruth is now a member of the varsity team. She is also treasurer of the Athletic Association for next year. Caroline is singing in the choir, and she took part in the Third Hall play. Kismet. IMargaret Patterson is
