The Varsity Soccer Team had a season of mixed successes this year. With new coach John Ague and tri-captains Mark Gruba, Craig Callan and Bill Capodanno, the team boasted strong leader­ ship along with enthusiastic par­ ticipation. Their record of 3-10 in­ cluded many losses by just one or two goals. Lacking nine start­ ing seniors from last year, the team goal throughout the season consisted mainly of gaining ex­

Outstanding players included Craig Callan (Most Valuable), Da­ vid Dworkin (Most Improved), as well as Mark Gruba, Bill Capo­ danno, and Matt DelVento who all received the Coaches’ Award. Although four important seniors will graduate this spring, the team looks forward to a stronger and more promising future.
