Player-Coach Tom Swales summed up the bowling season well “At the beginning of the season we had great expectations, but we failed to meet them.” W-H won or tied 7 of its first 12 matches, before slumping to a record 8 games better than last year’s tally. As co-captain Jeff Friedlander put it: “ Every year we improve, next year we will be State Champions."
In addition to his coaching duties, Swales lead the team with a 180 aver age. He notes more people must come out for the team to continue its upward climb; and to fill the hole left by gradu ating senior, Mr. Consistency, Rob Di- leo.
CLOCKWISE FROM UPPER RIGHT: 1. Co-captains DiLeo and Friedlander enjoyed a quiet moment before the match. 2 LEFT TO RIGPIT: G. Yusko, T. Swales, R. DiLeo, J. Friedlander, D. Lacki, M. Kavka. 3. Player-Coach Swales gloating over the score.
