Girls' Soccer
varsity
The girls' varsity soccer team ended its season on November I, with a loss to Pennington. The girls, however, have "nothing to be disappointed about," end ing their season with 7 wins and 9 losses, a drastic improvement from winning only four games last year.
"This team has developed a "esprit-de- corps" or sense of unity, boasts head coach Howard Freeman in his Peruvian way.
Senior Nicole Everhart, juniors Jennifer Allman, Arielle Drummond, Elisabeth Held, Sarah Williamson, sopho mores Alarice Cesareo, Sarah Kovach- Orr, Nisha Singh and Jackie Sibblies were
returning starters.
One of the strengths of the team was the
notable duo of Allman, the goalkeeper, and Cesareo, the sweeper, who "played outstanding defense all season" accord ing to Freeman. The offense was led by Drummond, Kovach-Orr, and new comer Mireia Oil, with help from Williamson at center half-back.
