Varsity Golf Fields a Young But Skilled Team
What does a team with a previous record of 2 and 9 do? If it is the Golf team, it improves, according to Coach Richard Page. The team began the season with a 1 and 1 record, avenging a 4 to 2 loss to Newark Academy with a near shutout at 5x/2
and V2 over Pennington. A very young team, Varsity Golf boasts a starting line­ up of three freshmen and three sophomores. With this kind of team the golfers are assured of a brighter future.
