 Wardlaw-Hartridge Drama Club
Mrs. Senyk with the Production Staff
Wardlaw and Hartridge Thespians
The Wardlaw-Hartridge Drama Club once again ended with a successful year as a result of a season of excellent productions. Knock, by Jules Romains, was presented in the fall, offering the audience an evening of French satire and farce. The winter production of Anastasia, by Marcelle Maurette, was one of the most ambitious shows yet attempted. It was also the first Wardlaw drama to contain the element of mystery.
The Production Staff, under the direction of Mrs. Florence Senyk, again worked hard to promote the plays this year. This season the signatures of the Drama Club's patrons were incorporated into the playbill and advance sales for each show were larger than ever.
Expansion and improvement of the club has been guided by its director, Mr. Alexan der McDougall.
