HIS year, the fair given annually by the teachers and pupils of the Hartridge School for the benefit of the Children’s Ward of Muhlenberg Hospital, was in the nature of a triumph. It takes
but $400 to endow our two beds, and we cleared $760.50, leaving a large surplus for the little inmates of the ward. Our friends and acquaintances came in crowds, and we welcomed a new table managed by the alumnae. In spite of the fact that these are war times, we had
the most successful fair we have ever had. follows:
