 THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
President—Mary Clay Vice-President Eleanor Hooey Treasurer—Jean McClellan
The Athletic Association and the school in general have had a very valuable addition this year, namely Miss Frances Thurston. She and Miss Stinson have brought fresh ideas and vim to our athletic activities, resulting, especially, in an increased number of outside hockey games and a very interesting ping'pong tournament —won, by the way, by the Green team represented by June Singleton after a close battle with Margie Lewis, who was representing the White team.

THE BANQUET — 1935
Although the night set for our annual banquet proved wet and stormy, the crowd of girls was gayer and more excited than ever. Everyone realized that the evening’s progress would reveal both the winner of Mrs. Wigton’s Cup, presented for the first time to the girl who throughout the year had earned the greatest number of personal points, and also the winner of fifty points to be awarded for sportsmanship in games and classes. A nd every single person was trying to guess which school team had won the banner—the Greens or the Whites. Besides these things, Miss Edgett, a very great favorite, was to be our guest of honor. What then could be more natural than the fever-pitch of curiosity and excitement that prevailed?
