VARSITY SWIMMING TEAM
The 1993-1994 swimming season was an impressive one coached by the husband and wife tandem of Tom and Gina Mericle. The Rams finished their year with an 11-2 record with loses only to the Prep "B" State and Conference Champion Morristown-Beard and the Prep "B" State and Conference runner-up Montclair Kimberly.
The Rams finished in fourth place at the Prep “B" Con­
ference Meet with strong swims from the entire squad. The girls finished in fourth place at the Girls' Prep "B" State Meet led by juniors Tamar Poliak and Ellen Wilson. The boys finished in third place at the Boys Prep "B" State Meet to the very strong Morristown-Beard and Monclair- Kimberly teams. The boys were led by senior captain Mike Sidun, senior Alok Gupta, and freshman Jon Hegna.
