Starting with a three day retreat, the Peer Leaders went through summer bugs, group hugs, bon fires, and flat tires together. They proved their unity as they tackled the Problem Solving course, helping one another over 12- foot walls and jumping blindly backwards out of trees into the arms of their friends. Once in school, they met their new eighth grade friends and traded their thoughts and dreams. They learned to work in groups, and showed their stuff on Parents' night and in the Cabaret. The program officially closed at the end of January, but the minds of those involved remain open, and the memories will live forever.
