This year our chapter of the Junior State is an amazing success story. Membership and partici pation are much higher than last year, as we have had debates almost every activities period on subjects ranging from flag burning to the dress code. Our participation at conventions was much improved over last year also, as we sent delega tions to five of them. At the fall overnight our school was strongly represented as most mem bers participated in debates as primary speakers. At the spring overnight we were again success fully represented as we passed one of our bills through committee. Our opening session was held on the floor of the House of Representatives, where crucial issues in our government are de cided every day! This year has been a great suc cess and we hope that next year our chapter will continue to grow.
