FIELD HOCKEY (3-6) BOASTS LARGE TURHOUT
This year's field hockey season was greatly influ enced by the weather with several games rained out. For the first time in several years the turnout was sufficient so that a fewjunior varsity games could be played. The greater number of players allowed for tremendous development of positional play as scrim mages became a big part of every practice. Although the team's record of 3-6 was not as good as was hoped, the team did play up to its potential for most of the season. The highlight of the season was the Homecoming Game. Hot only did they beat Staten
Island 3-1 but everyone played his best and everyone contributed to the win. The highlight for the J.V. sea son was the scoreless tie with Horth Plainfield in which both teams played exceedingly well. The dedi cation and enthusiasm of all the team members were hallmarks this year.
Best Offensive Player: HEIDI RITZ
Best Defensive Player: LISA ROGERS
COACH'S AWARD: LAURA MORAH
season note: Both Lisa Rogers and Heidi Ritz were selected to the Prep B All-Star team. A very bright future is in the waiting for the Rams as Coach Paula Gray's 7-8 grade team went undefeated this fall.
