The W-H soccer team seems to
have broken the curse that has left them winless for eight games.
The Rams, led by head coach John W alker and seniors Geoff Gershaw, Paul Papadakis and Duane Gibson, displayed their skill and power, which was uncontested by Lakewood Prep, and finally resulted in a 5-1 vic tory. Gibson had a hat trick, scor ing three goals. Papadakis scored on a penalty shot, and freshman Bryan Bonk also got a goal. The lone goal for Lakewood Prep was scored in the first half, also on a penalty.
This year's varsity team in cludes six freshmen and sopho mores; juniors Tim Kolaya, Jon Kaplan, Jeff Frimpter, Joe Palumbo, and Franklin Rellosa; and seniors Anthony Co, Gibson, Gershaw, and Papadakis.
