On February 25, the National Prep School Wrestling Tourna­ ment was held at Lehigh Univer­ sity in Pennsylvania.
Wins came from 112 pound freshman Nick Sullivan (10-5), 140 pound sophomore Eric Mele (10-14), 145 pound sophomore Nolan Sullivan (19-4), and 189 pound junior Franklin Rellosa. Since each wrestler won by pin, they each earned five team points, to bring the Rams' total to twenty. This was good enough to capture forty-eighth place out of 99 teams.
At the New Jersey Prep Confer­ ence Tournament, the boys put together another strong showing, with six place winners. Nolan Sullivan again took first place, Palumbo a first, Rellosa a second, and three thirds from freshmen Nick Sullivan, 103 pound George Dapper (8-6), and 125 pound Jason Mozo (1-1).
The Rams finished the season in strong fashion with a thrilling 38- 36 victory over the George School (PA), spurred on by wins from Palumbo, 130 pound junior Andy Levin (11-10), Mele, and Nolan Sullivan. Rellosa pinned his oppo­ nent to put the match out of reach.
