Headmaster Devotes Time, Efforts to Wardlaw Growth
1leadmaster Prentice C. Horne, since his ar rival at W ardlaw in 1959, has devoted all of his time and efforts to the betterment of the school. Under his leadership growth has been im pressive — additions to the 1030 Central Avenue plant, record rise in enrollment, new athletic fields, and now, in the offing, a new school coming into being on Inman Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. Horne are the parents of four ehildren, two of whom are currentiv away at col lege: Sally, at Wilson College, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in fine arts, and Jed, a Wardlaw alumnus, at Harvard Uni versity, Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he is maioring in American studies.
The two non-collegian Hornes, Carol and limmv, lire with their parents at 130 Rockview Ar’cnue, North Plainfield, and attend Hartridge and Wardlaw' respectively.
When the Ilornes can find the time, they enjoy sjiending vacations at their “other home” in New London, New Hampshire, where they sail in summer and ski in winter.
