Board Expands As School Grows

Ever since 1959 when the Ward- law Country Day School was incor porated as a non-prolit organization, the diligence and continuing hard work of the Board of Trustees have been responsible for the excellent school that W ardlaw is today. Last year the board took on its greatest task to date — the new school, which is now well on the way to full reali zation.
Board officers this year were Mr. David F. Sanders, president; Mr. Charles H. Detwiller, Jr., vice presi dent; Mr. Osmun Fort, secretary; Mr. Arthur L. Fischer, assistant secretary; Mr. Charles B. Flellerson, treasurer; Mr. George W. Elwell, assistant treas urer; and Mr. William H. Peterson, Jr., director of the Development Fund.
Six of the current board members were added this past year, bringing the number of the group to 21. New trustees were Mr. Philip J. Levin, Mr. Edwin J. Fitzpatrick, Mr. Richard M.
Hale, Mr. David S. Foster, Mr. Al len C. DuBois, and Mr. Peterson.
Additional members are Mr. Robert F. Hahn, Mr. John F. Kent, Mr. J. Robert Laidlaw, Mr. Alden R. Loosli, Mr. Carl S. Menger, Mr. Murray Rushmore, Jr., Mr. Corwin S. Scott, Mr. John P. Stevens, Jr., and Mr. William G. Wigton.
Naturally, it would be impossible to express adequately the gratitude which the school feels toward its Board of
