Innovations Introduced in Art Program
Art activities this year were directed bv Mrs. Helen S. Rose in the lower school and Mr. Thomas A. Sisko in the middle and upper schools.
Interesting innovations this past term included work with basic elements of design in the seventh grade and a class in mechanical drawing for the eighth graders.
Students learned perspective drawing and how to draw objects from different viewpoints. Student skills were put to work in designing floor plans for a model house which the classes constructed.
