Eighth Graders Lead Honor Roll
Boasting an unusually large number of stu dents, the eighth grade compiled an outstanding record this year. Fourteen eighth graders were numbered in the first-semester honor roll as the class led the school with an 83.6 average.
Athletically, eighth graders contributed to all junior teams. Their height and weight were par ticularly helpful in basketball and football. In the newly formed junior cross-country team, David W. Price, Jr., showed outstanding talent, at times competing with high-school runners.
Representing the eighth grade on Junior Stu dent Council were William L. Null, president, and Roger J. Breene, vice-president.
