cheerleading squad, this year's team looked mighty impressive out on the floor. Rigorous practices after school ensured memorable performances at games and during February's competitions. The addition of boys for the first time in recent history, Billy Nolan '13, Cory Harrell '13, and Nick Davis '13, enhanced the team and contributed to its reaching even greater heights than might have been anticipated. “Four years ago we went to camp with a squad of eight that could hardly do a full \[liberty\],” Skyla Choi '12 said. “Now we are a huge army of girls and boys who are able to hit three full liberties during one of the quarter breaks at a basketball game. I’m so proud of everyone on the team.”"

Coach Jessica Wilson watched her team show their school spirit in the pool this year. The group of twenty-seven swimmers all worked hard for the glory of Wardlaw-Hartridge. Freshman Marcel Green was especially successful in making a name for both himself and the team this year. "I'm anticipating a good season with our upcoming freshmen," said Green. Other team leaders were captain Alyssa Kennedy, captain Brian Downing, and seniors Jeanine Gill and Abigail Rogers.
