Veni, vidi, vici. I came, I saw, I conquerec Homecoming & Cabaret
This year, as a result of an exceptionally snowy winter, many of our winter and spring events took place on alternate dates. However, a delay didn’t affect the fun had by participants at the Cooking Cabaret, which took place on May 30th. And students got to show off their special dance moves at the semi-formal. "Sometimes things just happen and you have to go with the flow. Due to the weather, some event dates could not be adjusted; but as always, the most important thing is that we enjoy these events and appreciate these moments. It always goes by much too fast, and I can only imagine that when I am a senior, 1will look back on my four years of high school and think, 'where did the time go?'," stated Lacey Gress '16.
This year, W-H students performed their adaptation of tl franchisedhit,High SchoolMusical. Thecaststated,"Performing for an audience, is like nothing else. Unlike most other art forms, on stage, you get an immediate response for your performance The audience is with you the entire time; it's this amazing journey you go on together."
