Band
Many improvements and changes were the story this year for one of Wardlaw's growing extra­ curricular activities, the school Band. Improvements were due to daily hard work on behalf of the band members, from both the upper and lower schools, as well as the leadership of Mrs. Ellen Canter, the new Band Director.
This year the band performed at the Winter Con­ cert, the Mothers' Association Winter Meeting, and the annual Spring Concert.
The acquisition of a strobe tuner, an assortment of drums and symbols, and a finer selection of music aided in making this a very successful year for the Wardlaw Band.
