When they arrived to the castle, the Old Witch used her great power to afflict pain on the
Giant’s feet. As soon as the Giant woke up from his sleep, the Witch’s curse started to take
effect. The Giant felt a lot of pain in his feet, so he went in search for his missing shoe,
hoping it would reduce the pain. When the Giant came back to the Little Old Woman’s
house, he thrust his foot into it, breaking the roof that Peter and Strong-arm had made.
