Van Gogh was always fascinated

by art. He began his journey

as a child, but did not formally

decide to become an artist

until his late twenties.

Instead, he spent the latter

part of his youth working

for art dealers.

At one point, in 1879, Van Gogh

even entertained priesthood

and pursued missionary work.
