Like always, the King’s son came to the castle at night and called for Rapunzel.
The golden hair came down the small window and up climbed the King’s son.
When he stepped inside, he saw the enchantress who gave him a wicked look.
The King’s son was so afraid to see such a benevolent being standing in front of
him that he immediately leapt down from the tower. Even though he escaped
without having his life spared, he pierced his eyes with the thorns he fell on.
