Canada and the United States of America are part of the North American

summers. Winters are much colder and summers are cooler in central and
northern Canada. On the other hand , the United States of America, for being so

large, has many different types of climate. The southern part of the West Coast
has what is called a Mediterranean climate. It is warm and sunny most of the year,

with some rain in winter. North of California, the coast has a marine climate. Rain
is common and forests are dense.
