Another survival feature is the
venomous secretion that the
cuttlefish produces from its
salivary glands in order to
paralyze its victims.
It can also eject an ink that is
commonly used to confuse
predators.
The majority of cuttlefish
species reside in shallow waters,
skimming the surface water
slowly, or leisurely manoeuvring
along the seabed.
