as we slowly made our way

through the halls.

Couldn’t they smell the smoke?

I wanted the students to hurry,

so I started screaming.

“There’s a fire, what are all of

you people waiting for?

Let’s get to the exit quickly.”

I pushed past several students

causing them to fall.
