Pine or cedar boards, exterior

     plywood, and even hardboard

can be used to make a bluebird

     house.

The house can be stained or

painted a light color on the

     outside, but the interior and

     edges of the entrance hole

     should be left unfinished.

     Meanwhile, bluebird houses

     should be installed in pairs

     approximately 20 to 30 feet

     apart.
