Pine or cedar boards, exterior
plywood, and even hardboard
can be used to make a bluebird
house.
The house can be stained or
painted a light color on the
outside, but the interior and
edges of the entrance hole
should be left unfinished.
Meanwhile, bluebird houses
should be installed in pairs
approximately 20 to 30 feet
apart.
