                 M Julia, you don't look very (sad/happy).

W Hi, Jim. I just got back from the (emergency room/hospital).
                 M Are you (right/alright)?

W I'm okay. I fell down and sprained my (ankle/wrist), though.
M (Ouch/Ow)! That must have hurt.

W It did, but it's not so (good/bad) now.
M Hopefully it will heal (eventually/soon).

M Hi, Chelsea. You (look/seem) excited.
                 W I am. I just got a new (kitty/puppy).
M That's great. Your old dog Rover died a few (weeks/years) ago, right?

W Yes, he was a (bad/good) dog. But the new puppy is so cute.

M Can I come (over/by) and see it some time?
W Sure, but I need some (assistance/help) thinking of a name for it.
M I have lots of ideas for (dog/cat) names. I will help you.

W Sam, you seem (anxious/nervous). Aren't you ready for our math test?
M I'm not sure. I studied (very/pretty) hard, but I am still not very confident.

W If you studied, I'm sure you will do (well/okay).
M I hope so. I (need/want) to get a good grade on this test.

W Don't worry (so/too) much. You're ready for the test, so you will get a good grade.
                 M True.

W Good luck on the test. I hope we both do (good/well).
