The reason why the stock market
started was because companies
wanted to raise money in a short
amount of time. They wanted
to search for a solution to their
problems when they were in
crisis. The stock market allowed
businesses to publicly trade bonds
and raise extra money to expand
their company when they needed to.
Businesses also allowed a percent
of their company to be owned by
the public that were willing to buy
it through stocks. The stock market
