of November 1874 at Blenheim
Palace, Oxfordshire in England.
His father was Lord Randolph
Churchill, his mother Jeanette
Jerome. Churchill spent his early
years in Dublin, Ireland. He did
poorly at school but decided to
join the military in the British
Royal Military College, where he
faired well.
