and each time the great medicine

bag was jostled, Nanaboozhoo

magically felt better and better. He

began to dance and chant loudly

with vigour. Soon sorrow began

to fall from his heart and his spirit

became lighter and lighter. After the

dance Nanaboozhoo joined all the

other spirits of the earth and they

smoked the sacred pipe of initiation.

Nanaboozhoo was then inducted and

initiated into the Grand Medicine
