So the monkey boy told his mother to

cook and prepare the rice as he went

along to fetch his brothers. When the

brothers came to the monkey boys

house they were astonished to see that

they were able to eat as much rice as

possible. When the pumpkins became

ripe the monkey boy would gather all

the pumpkins and slice them open to

get all the rice. He gathered enough

rice for them to last the entire year.
