as evil witches, dangerous for

humans. The truth is, they were

evil to those who where mean and

tried to steal from them, so they

would cast bad-luck spells on the

newborns and haunt the houses of

those who hated them.

They haven’t been seen for many

years in the towns of Sardinia.
