Make sure to follow the
directions on the seed packages.
Certain seeds require space to
grow, while others can be sown
more closely together. Growing
seeds close together shades the
soil and preserves moisture for
the roots. However, if you sow
large plants too close to one
another, their roots will get
strangled, causing your garden
to die. After you have sown
your seeds, water the garden
immediately.
